February

Thank goodness for Instagram!
How else could I function???
I love taking pictures of my kids but it seems to have become a burden to always have my huge camera with me.  I know the pictures aren't the best quality, but Instagram has been rocking my world lately and the only way I have actually been able to document my kids childhood!

Here is the biggie for the month of February...
We packed up the car and headed to Colorado to play in the snow!  We went to Beaver Creek to make some memories and ski down some slopes!
12 hours in the car made it an interesting journey but I guarantee this is one of the parts that my kids will remember the most!  I caught some loving going on...
some silly songs being sung...
and we actually saw a bear!!!!
So excited to have all four of mine in ski school this year!
This was her first year and I know that I was more nervous than she was.  I thought for sure within 15 minutes she would have thrown off her helmet, told them she was too cold and she wanted a snack!  I just knew I would get a call once I got to the top of the mountain.
Well she proved me wrong!
This was her response when I asked her how her day went!  We then spent the rest of the afternoon together going up and down the gondola, her favorite part of skiing!
I actually got to ski THREE days with my husband!  I haven't gotten to do this since before marriage so this was a big deal!
Our afternoons were spent making smores...
and hanging out!
It is a little nerve wracking skiing with your children.  First of all, they are better than me!  Next up, they are fearless!  This is what I am supposed to want for them...right?  I skied behind them and kept thinking they weren't going to make their turns and head off on the black diamond paths or just plain off the mountain!  Not sure what I will do when all four are up there with us at the same time!

This was after she threw a massive fit telling me that she wasn't tired!

She is a skiing Super Star!
Something about seeing our boots lines up each night made my heart smile!  I love having my family together without the distractions of "normal" life!
Sweet friends celebrating our first Tulsa snow!
Margaret's Daisy trip to the fire station!

Sometimes we just have to bring this guy coffee so that we can sneak a peek at him!

February was short and sweet!
It came and went in a flash!
Already looking forward to our next trip to Beaver Creek!

January

Dear Blogger,

I have missed you so much!
Life has become impossible for me to keep up with you!
I vow to try harder to give you attention and keep you up-to-date!
Here is our January in a bundle!
(If you get bored with zillions of pictures please feel free to leave my blog!)

We had a great visit from Grand Nana and Nana for Christmas!  We missed getting to see Grand Papa and Granstan this visit.  We kept busy showing them around Tulsa with a trip to the aquarium, a tour of Christmas lights, and a yummy brunch at Dilly Deli!

My sweet Isabella swam in a swim meet and did AWESOME!!!!

Even though he was on call this Christmas this super Dad found some time to sneak in some fun!

Camp at the gym to get their wiggles out!

Celebrating AWESOME report cards with dinner at McDs

Love my time getting to cook with PreK and this cutie pants!  I would do about anything to bottle this sweet boy up and keep him like this forever!
Once the "BIG" kids went back to school this little one was very sad!  She loves the chaos of her brother and sisters.  As I was folding laundry she came into the room looking like this!  When I asked her what she was up to, her response..."I'm shopping at Target!"  When you ask this girl where she wants to go to have fun her answer is always "Target" or "Sams"!  I really need this weather to get warmer so I can get her to the park!
Kyle decided to grow some whiskers to keep himself warm for our upcoming ski trip!  I think he looked kinda cute:)  He had some red in that beard and yes, this is really how it grew in!
We had a marathon weekend of birthday parties for friends.  Between two parties skating, Little Gym, &
dressing up like a Princess at the Doll House we were full of cake, goody bags, and lots of energy:)
A fun visit with cousins out to lunch!
We tried to skip naps to cuddle on the couch and watch a movie:)
We discovered she doesn't like going to her sister's swim meets!
Lots of fun playdates with friends!  These girls melt my heart when they are together!  They had a great time making their pizzas!
Picture day!
Getting our baby fix with this sweet baby girl!
I never know if this is my last snuggle on the couch with one of my babies!  The older they get the less they slow down!   I know that there will come a day when they want to sleep until noon (well maybe not Isabella!) but probably not snuggled on the couch with their momma.  So glad this shot was taken!

Well that is our January in a nutshell!
Not much news, just trying to recover the holidays and get back into the swing of our schedule!
