Thank goodness for Instagram!
How else could I function???
I love taking pictures of my kids but it seems to have become a burden to always have my huge camera with me. I know the pictures aren't the best quality, but Instagram has been rocking my world lately and the only way I have actually been able to document my kids childhood!
Here is the biggie for the month of February...
We packed up the car and headed to Colorado to play in the snow! We went to Beaver Creek to make some memories and ski down some slopes!
12 hours in the car made it an interesting journey but I guarantee this is one of the parts that my kids will remember the most! I caught some loving going on...
some silly songs being sung...
and we actually saw a bear!!!!
So excited to have all four of mine in ski school this year!
This was her first year and I know that I was more nervous than she was. I thought for sure within 15 minutes she would have thrown off her helmet, told them she was too cold and she wanted a snack! I just knew I would get a call once I got to the top of the mountain.
Well she proved me wrong!
This was her response when I asked her how her day went! We then spent the rest of the afternoon together going up and down the gondola, her favorite part of skiing!
I actually got to ski THREE days with my husband! I haven't gotten to do this since before marriage so this was a big deal!
Our afternoons were spent making smores...
and hanging out!
It is a little nerve wracking skiing with your children. First of all, they are better than me! Next up, they are fearless! This is what I am supposed to want for them...right? I skied behind them and kept thinking they weren't going to make their turns and head off on the black diamond paths or just plain off the mountain! Not sure what I will do when all four are up there with us at the same time!
This was after she threw a massive fit telling me that she wasn't tired!
She is a skiing Super Star!
Something about seeing our boots lines up each night made my heart smile! I love having my family together without the distractions of "normal" life!
Sweet friends celebrating our first Tulsa snow!
Margaret's Daisy trip to the fire station!
Sometimes we just have to bring this guy coffee so that we can sneak a peek at him!
February was short and sweet!
It came and went in a flash!
Already looking forward to our next trip to Beaver Creek!
